History of Cryptography and Possibilities of its Practical Use in the Present

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historií kryptografie a možnostmi jejího praktického využití v současnosti. V úvodu teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy z kryptografie, které jsou důležité pro pochopení celé problematiky, dále je teoretická část práce věnována historickému vývoji kryptografických metod od dob starověku až do současnosti. V praktické části jsou vytvořeny jednoduché návody pro zašifrování e-mailové komunikace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused to the history of cryptography and its possibilities of practical use in present days. The introduction of the theoretical part explains the basic concepts of cryptography, which are important for understanding the whole issue, the theoretical part of the work is belong to the historical development of cryptographic methods from the antiquity to the present. In the practical part, simple instructions for encrypting e-mail communication are created.
