Gradient and iterative methods for numerical solutions of linear systems
Abstract:
In this diploma thesis we focus on solving linear systems, that can represent many practical problems. We have aimed not only at relaxation and semi-iterative method, but also at gradient methods such as conjugate gradient and steepest descent method. Theoretical results with their illustrations provide readers with easy instructions to approximate a solution of linear systems.
Abstract:
V tejto diplomovej práci sa venujeme iteračným metódam pre riešenie sústav lineárnych rovníc, ktoré môžu reprezentovať množstvo praktických problémov. Zamerali sme sa okrem relaxačnej a semiiteračnej metódy aj na metódy gradientné. Teoretické výsledky doplnené ilustračnými príkladmi poskytujú jej čitateľom prehľadný návod, ako aproximovať riešenie sústavy lineárnych rovníc.
