Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce „Překlad a analýza první kapitoly knihy „Stmívání“ od Stephanie Meyer“ přináší v praktické části práce překlad první kapitoly knihy „Stmívání“ od autorky Stephenie Meyer a v teoretické části dále tento překlad analyzuje a to hned z několika hledisek. První kapitola je věnována protikladným principům podle Jiřího Levého, kterými se překladatelé řídí, druhá kapitola pak pojednává o základních principech se kterými se při překládání autoři setkávají podle Dagmar Knittlové. Třetí a čtvrtá kapitola blíže rozebírá jednotlivé vybrané gramatické a lexikální jevy reflektované příklady z překladu praktické části a oficiálního českého překladu.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis “Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight: Translation and Analysis of the First chapter“ deals with the translation and analysis of the first chapter of the book “Twilight” written by Stephenie Meyer. The practical part consists of the translation which is analyzed in the theoretical part of the thesis from different points of view. The first chapter discusses the contradictory principles by Jiří Levý. The second chapter concerns basic principles mentioned by Dagmar Knittlová. The third and fourth chapters focus on selected grammatical and lexical aspects. All discussed features are accompanied by illustrations of the original, practical part and original Czech translation.
