Abstract:
Diploma thesis "Marimba and snare drum as specific musical instruments" deals with the specifics of both instruments. These specifics are principally meant as aspects and problematics which primarily relate to the individual and responsible approach to the instrument, and then the problematic of perceiving the instrument as "melodic" in the case of a snare drum.
