The Four Volumes of Elena Ferrante's L' Amica geniale: the Life of Italian Women During the Second Half of the Twentieth Century
Abstract:
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the lives of women in Italy in the second half of the twentieth century from the perspective of the Italian writer Elena Ferrante and her Neapolitan tetralogy "My Brilliant Friend". The work presents the fates of the two protagonists Elena and Lila and outlines the living conditions of women in the family and in society.
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na život žen v Itálii ve druhé polovině dvacátého století z pohledu italské spisovatelky Eleny Ferrante a její neapolské tetralogie „Geniální přítelkyně“. Práce představuje osudy dvou protagonistek, Eleny a Lily, a nastiňuje podmínky života žen v rodině a ve společnosti.
