Abstract:

Téma této bakalářské práce je „Dílo Pieta Mondriana v kontextu skupiny De Stijl.“ Na začátku je představen Mondrianův umělecký vývoj, získávání zkušeností a inspirací. Dále je věnována pozornost části jeho teoretických úvah. Tato práce také popisuje vznik skupiny De Stijl a vymezení vizuálního slovníku neoplasticismu. V závěru se nabízí otázka: „do jaké míry Piet Mondrian ovlivnil skupinu a jaké názorové neshody vznikaly?“ Hlavním cílem je seznámit čtenáře s Mondrianovým dílem a vystihnout jeho racionální základ vycházející z filosofických a estetických úvah.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is „The works by Piet Mondrian within the Context of the Art Group De Stijl.“ The first part tracks the development of Mondrian’s art. It describes where he drew experience from and who inspired him. Next, the thesis deals with his theoretic contemplations. In the second part of the thesis, the foundation of the Art Group De Stijl is described and the visual means of neoplasticism are defined. At the end, the question: „To what degree has Piet Mondrian influenced the Art Group De Stijl and what differences in opinions have arisen among the group’s members?” is touched upon. The intention of my bachelor thesis is to introduce the reader to the works of Piet Mondrian and to describe his rational principle, which stemmed from his philosophic and aesthetic contemplations.
