The extent to which surface streams are affected by mine waters in the Upper Silesian Basin
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kvalitou povrchových vod ovlivněných vypouštěnou důlní vodou z vodní jámy Žofie a Dolu Lazy v oblasti hornoslezské pánve. Tyto vody mají vysoký obsah chloridů, síranů a vyšší hodnoty elektrické vodivosti. Významně jsou ovlivněny také dnové sedimenty, které obsahují zvýšené koncentrace Ba, Sr, Ti, V a Cr. Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of surface water quality being affected by the discharged mine water from Žofie and Lazy mine in the Upper Silesian Basin. High content of chlorides, sulphates and higher values of electrical conductivity were measured in these waters. Bottom sediments, which contain increased concentrations of Ba, Sr, Ti, V and Cr, are also significantly affected. These …more
