Magisterská diplomová práce se věnuje tématu obléhání města Brna v roce 1742 prusko-saskou armádou v rámci válek o rakouské dědictví se zaměřením na každodenní život obyvatel města. The master's thesis addresses the topic of the siege of the city of Brno in 1742 by the Prussian-Saxon army during the War of Austrian Succession, with a focus on the everyday life of the city's inhabitants. Part of the thesis focuses on the blockade itself as an event, how the city prepared for the war threat, the measures taken for protection against the enemy, and how the blockade affected life …more
