Iconography of the Theme of Escape to Egypt on the Example of Selected Works
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá konkrétními obrazy s náměty Útěku do Egypta a Odpočinku na Útěku do Egypta, které pochází z 16. až 20. století. Srovnává jejich podobu, formu a zpracování, hodnotí tento vývoj a zároveň identifikuje symboliku v nich.
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis deals with specific paintings with themes of Flight into Egypt and Rest on Flight into Egypt, which interweave from 16th to 20th century. It compares their representation, form and treatment, tries to evaluates this development and at the same time identifies a symbolism in them.
