Job satisfaction of employees in a selected organization

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit a analyzovat pracovní spokojenost zaměstnanců v jedné divizi vybrané organizace. Protože je tato práce pojatá jako úvod do problematiky pracovní spokojenosti, v teoretické části práce věnuji pozornost konceptům (1.) osobnost a jejímu vztahu k pracovní spokojenosti, (2.) postojům, neboť jsou nadřazeným pojmem spokojenosti a (3.) motivaci, jako průvodnímu faktoru pracovní (činné) spokojenosti. Teoretická část vymezuje také stěžejní téma (4.) spokojenost a pracovní spokojenost. Protože vliv pracovní spokojenosti na další pracovní chování (motivaci, výkon aj.) nejsou v literatuře zcela jednotně popsány, snaží se práce tyto vztahy na základě studia literatury sjednotit či uspořádat pro lepší přehlednost. Teoretická část dává základ metodologické části, jsou z ní stanoveny DVO a především struktura zjišťování pracovní spokojenosti. Metodologická část je zaměřena kvantitativně a zabývá se především cíli, operacionalizací, výzkumným souborem i technikou sběru dat, která je provedena dotazníkovým průzkumem. Empirická část analyzuje zjištěná data podle jednotlivých DVO. Závěr práce obsahuje shrnutí analýzy, propojení s teorií a doporučení pro organizaci. Počet slov základního textu: 28 956

Abstract:

The main objective of this thesis is to identify and analyze the job satisfaction of employees in one division of selected organization. Because this work is conceived as an introduction to the topic of job satisfaction, the theoretical part of thesis pays attention to (1st) personality and its relation to the job satisfaction, (2nd) attitudes, because they are superior term of satisfaction and (3rd) motivation as the accompanying factor of job (active) satisfaction. The theoretical part also defines (4th) satisfaction and job satisfaction. Because the effects of job satisfaction on the additional work behavior (motivation, performance etc.) are not entirely described in the literature, this thesis is trying, on the base of literature, to unite these relations or arrange them for better clarity. The theoretical part provides the bases for the methodological part, the partial research question are determined from the theoretical part. The methodological part is about quantitative research and deals mainly with the objectives, the operationalization, the research population and data collection technique, which is a questionnaire survey. The empirical part analyzes data by the partial research question. The summary contains a conclusion of the analysis, linking with the theory and recommendations for the organization.
