Kinematics analyze of sports technique of female gymnasts vaulting

Abstract:

Sportovní gymnastika, jako většina dalších lidských činností, procházela bouřlivým vývojem a rozvojem. Přeskok je disciplínou sportovní gymnastiky, kde ve velmi krátké době o konečném výkonu rozhoduje celá řada kinematických faktorů promítajících se do techniky provedení skoku. V mé diplomové práci se budu snažit na základě analýzy pohybu identifikovat kinematické faktory (čas, rychlost, prostor, úhel) které se podílejí na provedení skoku a optimalizovat tak techniku provedení přeskoků ve sportovní gymnastice. Závěrem mé diplomové práce jsem došla k výsledku, že pro úspěšné provedení skoku závisí jednak na rychlosti v rozběhové fázi. Odraz z můstku je nutné vykonat v krátkém časovém intervalu. Paže musí dopadat na nářadí pod ostrým úhlem a odraz dokončit před polohou stoje na rukou. Tím získá gymnastka dostatečnou výšku těžiště těla v 2. letové fázi a bude mít tak dostatek času k dokončení saltových prvků v 2. letové fázi.

Abstract:

Artistic gymnastics, just like many other fields of human activity, has undergone tumultuous growth and development. Vault is an artistic gymnastics event in which within a short time span the final result is decided by a whole number of kinematic variables which determine the technique of the performed vault. In my diploma thesis, I will be trying, on the basis of a motion analysis, to identify the kinematic variables (time, speed /velocity, space, angle) which influence the execution of a vault and through which it is possible to optimise vaulting technique in artistic gymnastics. The conclusion I arrived at in my diploma thesis is that successful execution of a vault is determined by several factors ? the first being the speed of the approach. The takeoff velocity from the springboard must be high, i.e. the takeoff has to be carried out within a short time interval. Arms must contact the apparatus under a sharp angle and the gymnast must finish blocking before reaching the handstand position. This makes it possible to acquire sufficient height of the gymnast?s mass centre in the second flight phase and gives the gymnast enough time to finish performing somersault elements in the second flight phase.
