Moderné lietadlá majú satelitné pripojenie nielen pre operatívne dáta, ale taktiež na poskytnutie pripojenia k Internetu pre zákazníkov. V porovnaní s pozemnými linkami majú satelitné linky dlhú odozvu, ktorá degraduje celkovú priepustnosť pripojenia. Cieľom mojej práce je preskúmať rôzne možnosti akcelerácie satelitného pripojenia. The modern airplane provides satellite connectivity not only for operational data but also for Internet access for customers. However, satellite links are characterized by the long delay in contrast to terrestrial networks, which degrade the whole throughput connection.
