Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá snímači polohy a jejich aplikacemi. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem různých typů snímačů polohy, jejich principy, funkcemi a vlastnostmi. V praktické části bylo provedeno srovnání jednotlivých metod snímačů.
