WANDERING THROUGH THE URBAN LANDSCAPE AS A STARTING POINT FOR CREATION

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je fenomén flanérie.Práce se věnuje uměleckému aspektu bloumání v městské krajině, při kterém umělec získává inspiraci. Práce vyzdvyhuje proces bloumání a uvádí jeho pozitivní dopad na lidskou kreativitu. Pojem flanérství rozvádí a nastiňuje tento fenomén v proměnách doby. V druhé části se autorka zaměřuje na vlastní autorský projekt, který vznikl během procházek městskou periferií. Popisuje vývoj projektu a snaží se v něm popsat aspekty flanérie, které se místy vytrácí a pak se zas navrací s novými impulsy. Projekt se zaobírá tvary vytvořenými časem na omítkách a snaží se nalézt citlivý způsob, jak takové efemérní obrazy zachytit a komunikovat proces i výsledek s divákem.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the phenomenon of flanerie.The work is devoted to the artistic aspect of wandering in the urban landscape, during which the artist gains inspiration. The work highlights the process of wandering and states its positive impact on human creativity. The concept of flaneuring elaborates and outlines this phenomenon in the changes of time. In the second part, the author focuses on her own project, which was created during walks in the urban periphery. It describes the development of the project and tries to describe aspects of flânerie that disappear in places and then return with new impulses. The project deals with the shapes created by time on plasters and tries to find a sensitive way to capture such ephemeral images and communicate the process and the result with the viewer.
