The Cultural Policy in the Industrialized Regions of the Czech Republic - Case Study Most Region

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce vychází z předpokladu nedostatečného řešení kulturní politiky a kultury obecně v průmyslových regionech ČR jakožto důležitého nástroje pro další rozvoj území. Jako případová studie této bakalářské práce byla vybrána obec s rozšířenou působností Most, neboť předpoklad nedostatečného řešení kulturní politiky v průmyslových oblastech pojala autorka této práce při shromažďování dat pro svoji předchozí bakalářskou práci. Cílem této práce je tedy potvrdit, nebo vyvrátit původní předpoklad. Práce se bude zabývat dopadem a významem kulturní politiky v jedné z průmyslových oblastí ČR. Účelem této práce je zpracování analýzy využívání a plánování kulturní politiky na vybraném území Mostecka a území ORP Karviná (jakožto srovnávaného území). Práce by měla mít teoreticko-praktický charakter, neboť po provedení syntézy dat by měla dokázat vznést doporučení, na co konkrétně se v daném regionu z hlediska koncepce kulturní politiky zaměřit, a měla by tak být schopná vznést návrhy na případné zlepšení výchozí situace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis presents the hypothesis of an insufficient solution of cultural politics and culture as a whole in industrial regions of the Czech Republic being one of the most important elements in encouraging this development area further. An example of a thesis showing cultural politics broadening the scope of an industrial region was based on a region called Most and was produced by the author of this thesis who was summarising the data for the previous bachelor thesis. The main aim of this thesis is to confirm or disprove the original assumption provided by the previous author. This bachelor thesis will deal with an impact and importance of cultural politics in one of the industrial regions in Czech Republic. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the planning and use of cultural politics within the chosen region of Most and other compare it with another region called Karvina (as a comparable region). This thesis should have a theoretical and practical character as after the analysis of data it should prove and highlight recommendations, specifically in the primary focus region (Most), in terms of the concept of cultural politics; also it should highlight improvements of the current situation.
