Diplomová práce popisuje základní metody a principy akumulace elektrické energie. Následuje rozbor technologií konstrukce olověného akumulátoru a návrhu náhradního modelu. Dále je zde popis a realizace měření nabíjecích a vybíjecích charakteristik na čtyřech vzorcích stejného typu akumulátoru, analýza, zpracování a prezentace naměřených dat.
