Analysis and design of Business Intelligence solution for the company LeasePlan Česká republika, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem práce je vytvořit návrh Business Intelligence řešení pro leasingovou společnost. Návrh BI řešení stojí na základě informací získaných z vyhotovené analýzy řízení společnosti zabývající se poskytováním leasingových smluv. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy související s byznysem leasingové společnosti. Představen je vývoj trhu leasingových obchodů v ČR a dále je porovnáno rozložení leasingu dle komodit. K vypracování analýzy řízení leasingové společnosti posloužily informace z osobních konzultací a materiálů od společnosti LeasePlan Česká republika, s.r.o. V analytické části je nejprve představena leasingová společnost a metoda řízení, která se ve společnosti využívá. Další část analýzy se zabývá představením obsahu řízení a vybraných specifik pro standartní druhy řízení. Detailně jsou rozebrány specifické úlohy řízení leasingového procesu. V závěru analytické části jsou uvedeny nároky na byznys analytiku. Praktickou část tvoří návrh ukázkového BI řešení pro sledování počtu objednávek. Ukázkové řešení má strukturu SSBI aplikace a využívá metodu dimenzionálního modelování. Na základě analýzy byl vybrán klíčový ukazatel, vytvořen segment datového modelu a vzorové reporty zaměřené na porovnání objednávek. K vypracování praktické části byl autorem využit nástroj Microsoft Power BI Desktop. Přínosem práce je vytvořená analýza řízení leasingové společnosti a ukázkový návrh BI řešení.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a proposal for a Business Intelligence solution for a leasing company. The proposal of the BI solution is based on the information obtained from the analysis of the company management dealing with the provision of leasing contracts. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the business of a leasing company. The author also, in this part, describes the leasing market development in the Czech Republic and the distribution of leasing by commodities. The information for analysis got from personal consultations and materials provided by LeasePlan Česká Republika, s.r.o. The analytical part first introduces the leasing company and the management method used in the company. The next part of the analysis deals with management content and selected specifics for standard types of management in the leasing company. The specific tasks of managing the leasing process are discussed in detail. At the end of the analytical part are mentioned the requirements for business analytics. The practical part consists of designing a BI solution for monitoring the number of orders. The solution has the structure of an SSBI application and uses the method of dimensional modeling. A key indicator, a created segment of the data model, and reports focused on order comparison were selected based on the analysis. The author used the Microsoft Power BI Desktop tool to develop the practical part. The contribution of the bachelor thesis is an analysis of the leasing company's management and a proposal of a BI solution.
