Abstract:
Tato práce se soustředí na mediální obraz Franklina Delano Roosevelta a na jeho fotografie z různých období jeho života. Zkoumá, jak on sám ovlivňoval média a svou prezentaci, a na příkladech fotografií a textů ukazuje, jak se stal ikonou nejen v americké, ale i ve světové historii.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the media representation of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and photographs from various phases of his life. It examines how he himself influenced the media and his presentation. On photographical and textual examples, it shows how he became an icon of not only American, but also world history.
