Bonding of the mothers wiew after giving birth at home and in the hospital

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o subjektivním vnímání a prožívání bondingu vícerodičkami. Cíl: Zjistit a popsat subjektivní vnímání bondingu při porodu u matek vícerodiček, které mají zkušenosti jak s porodem v nemocnici, tak i s porodem v domácím prostředí. Dále pak zjistit pocity a prožívání rodiček v těchto rozdílných situacích, co vnímají jako důležité nebo naopak nedostačující v každé z těchto situací a jaké mají představy při příštím porodu. Metodika: Metodou sběru dat kvalitativního šetření byl zvolen individuální polostrukturovaný rozhovor s šesti participantkami výběrového souboru 1-2 týdny po porodu. Pro analýzu a interpretaci dat byla zvolena metoda interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy. Výsledky: Participantky popisovaly své vlastní zkušenosti a prožívání bondingu. Na základě analýzy dat byly stanoveny kategorie a podkategorie: Bonding (kontakt v těhotenství, vnímání bondingu, průběh bondingu po porodu, prožívání bondingu, představy o bondingu), prostředí (volba místa porodu, nemocniční prostředí, domácí prostředí, osoby u porodu), podpora (porodní plán, respektování přání, podpora raného kontaktu, narušení raného kontaktu), přínos (pozitivní vliv bondingu, negativní prožitky při bondingu, plány pro příští bonding). Analýzou rozhovorů bylo zjištěno, že ženy po porodu vnímají bonding velmi pozitivně a přejí si být nerušeny. Z nedostatečné podpory mají negativní emoce. Prožívání bondingu doma je pro ně intenzivnější vlivem vyšší podpory bondingu, intimity a klidného nerušeného prostředí, příště se rozhodly rodit doma. Závěr: Výsledky ukázaly, že ženy vnímají bonding pozitivně a je pro ně důležitý. Krokem ke zvýšení kvality péče je zajištění bondingu jako normy poporodní péče v praxi a spolupráce zdravotnického týmu v podpoře bondingu bez zásahu do poporodní interakce matky a novorozence.

Abstract:

This research work discusses the subjective perception and experience of bonding multiple women. The Aim: To identify and describe the subjective perception of bonding in childbirth for multiple women who have experience with giving birth in a hospital and with a birth in the home environment as well. Then figure out the feelings and experiences of women giving birth in these different situations, what they perceive as important or on the contrary insufficient in each of these situations and what are their ideas for the next birth. Methodology: The method of data collection of qualitative research was selected individual semi-structured interviews with six participant sample one to two weeks after birth. For the analysis and interpretation of data was used a method of interpretative phenomenological analysis. Results: The participants described their own experiences and experience of bonding. On the basis of the analysis of the data the categories and sub-categories were established: Bonding (contact in pregnancy, the perception of bonding, the course of bonding after giving birth, experience of bonding, ideas about bonding), environment (choice of the place of birth, hospital environment, home environment, the person at birth), support (birth plan, respect for the wishes, early contact support, the disruption of the early contact), benefit (positive effect of bonding, negative experiences in bonding, plans for the next bonding). The analysis of the interviews found out that postpartum women perceive positively the bonding, and wish not to be disturbed. Because of the lack of support they have negative emotions. Experience of bonding at home is more intense for them. The influence of a limited higher support of bonding, intimacy and a calm quiet environment. They have decided for childbirth at home next time. The Conclusion: The results showed that women perceive positively the bonding. It is important for them. A step to increase the quality of care is to provide bonding as a standard postpartum care in practice and cooperation of the medical team in support of bonding without interfering with postnatal interactions of the mother and the newborn child.
