Valuation of debtor's assets in bankruptcy (differences from a functioning company)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku insolvenčního řízení, konkrétně na oceňování aktiv dlužníka v úpadku. V teoretické části je rozebrána problematika „going concern“ ve vztahu ke způsobu řešení úpadku, oceňování aktiv u fungujícího podniku podle přístupu v účetnictví, oceňování aktiv podle zákona o oceňování a je rozebrána problematika insolvenčního řízení. Praktická část práce se věnuje analýze oceňování majetkové podstaty u dvou společností. Mezi zkoumané oblasti patří sestavení soupisu majetkové podstaty a oceňování položek majetkové podstaty v insolvenčním řízení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of insolvency proceedings, specifically on the valuation of the debtor's assets in bankruptcy. The theoretical part deals with the issue of "going concern" in relation to the method used to solve the bankruptcy, valuation of assets of a functioning company according to the approach in accounting, valuation of assets under the Valuation Act and the issue of insolvency proceedings. The practical part of the work is devoted to the analysis of assets valuation of two companies. The researched areas include the compilation of the inventory of assets and the valuation of items of property in insolvency proceedings.
