Diplomová práce se věnuje procesní části mezinárodního práva, a to procesům a mechanismům uznávání zahraničních rozhodnutí ve věcech rozvodu manželství. V úvodních kapitolách se práce zaměřuje na vymezení klíčových pojmů „rozvod“ a „uznání“, a to jak z pohledu práva vnitrostátního, tak z pohledu práva evropského a mezinárodního.
