Analysis of Google Analytics and its aplication in E-business

Abstract:

Elektronické komunikační technologie a jejich rozvoj přinesl do našich životů nový rozměr přenosu informací. V dnešní době si nelze bez těchto technologií v moderním světě představit efektivní fungování. I když naše činnosti nemusí být explicitně součástí elektronických komunikací, není dobré je podceňovat či dokonce se jim záměrně vyhýbat. Jsou navázané na všechny naše činnosti, i když zrovna nesedíme u počítače a nevyhledáme žádné informace, nevyřizujeme e-maily či nevytváříme v rámci home office přes vzdálený přístup z pohodlí svého domova práci pro svého zaměstnavatele. Pomineme-li situace, kdy v rámci elektronických komunikací bez možnosti odesílání dat od uživatele k poskytovateli tímto jednosměrným a v současné době konvenčním způsobem přijímáme např. klasické televizní či rozhlasové vysílání, moderní technologie směřují výhradně k obousměrné komunikaci. Nejedná se pouze o to, aby mohl uživatel mít možnost aktivně ovlivnit příchozí obsah, ale aby i poskytovatel obsahu měl možnost zpětné vazby, kterou může kvantifikovat, vyhodnocovat a na základě získaných závěrů zefektivnit rozhodování ve své podnikatelské činnosti v rámci svých rozhodovacích procesů a strategických hypotéz. K těmto metrikám se dá použít poměrně velké množství statistických nástrojů a služeb. Nejvýznamnější a nejrozšířenější nástroj je Google Analytics, o kterém pojednává tato bakalářská práce nejen z pohledu na daný produkt. Je potřeba s nimi počítat již od samého začátku našeho elektronického podnikání či s elektronickým podnikáním co nejdříve začít, protože jedině tak lze obstát v konkurenčním prostředí, které je na technologický vývoj velmi citlivé, převážně z řad zákazníků vlastních či potencionálních.

Abstract:

Electronic communication technology and its development has brought into our lives a new dimension of information transfer. Nowadays you can not be without these technologies in the modern world to introduce effective functioning. Even though our activities may not be explicitly included in electronic communications, it is not good to underestimate or even they deliberately avoid. They are attached to all our actions, even when you're not sitting at your computer and do not seek any information, do not handle e-mails or do not form within the home office via remote access from the comfort of your home work for his employer. Leaving aside the situation where within the electronic communications without the possibility of sending data by the providers of this one-way and now we accept the conventional way eg. The classic television or radio broadcasting, advanced technology aimed exclusively for two-way communication. It's not just that allow the user to be able to actively influence the incoming content, but to also a content provider had the opportunity to feedback that can be quantified, evaluated and on the basis of the conclusions to streamline decision- making in their business activities as part of their decision-making processes and strategic hypotheses. These metrics can be used relatively large amounts of statistical tools and services. The most important and widely used tool is Google Analytics, which is discussed in this thesis not only from the perspective of a given product. It is necessary to count them from the very beginning of our e-business and electronic business as soon as possible to begin with, because the only way you can succeed in a competitive environment, which is very sensitive technological developments, mostly from customers or their own potential.
