Status of ultrasonographic examination in diagnosing liver disease

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Postavení ultrasonografického vyšetření při diagnostice jaterních onemocnění je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první teoretické části vás uvedu do problematiky jaterních onemocnění za pomoci literárních informací z anatomie a fyziologie jater. Součástí anatomie je její rozdílný výklad mezi anatomem a chirurgem, kde se zmíním o vzniku samostatné jaterní chirurgie v rámci chirurgického oboru. Dále seznámím s principem ultrasonografie a vzájemnou nedílnou kooperaci s ostatními zobrazovacími metodami. Toto vše by se rovněž neodehrálo bez vzájemné spolupráce mezi jednotlivými klinikami a odděleními. Ve druhé praktické části se pokusím potvrdit hypotézu prvotního postavení ultrasonografického vyšetření při diagnostice jaterních onemocnění na základě statistických výsledků a údajů získaných na Klinice zobrazovacích metod FN Plzeň a srovnání s některými citacemi z odborné literatury. V neposlední řadě se tuto hypotézu pokusím potvrdit na základě vybraných kazuistik pro jednotlivá onemocnění jater získaných z podkladů Chirurgické kliniky FN Plzeň. Předpokládám, že výtěžnost diagnostiky, výsledků a závěrů směřujících k následné léčbě se neobejde bez vzájemné spolupráce ať již v rámci této kliniky, tak i kliniků ostatních, kteří se na diagnostice jaterních onemocnění podílejí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic of ultrasonographic examination in the diagnosis of liver diseases is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part I will introduce you to the issue of liver diseases with the help of literary information from anatomy and liver physiology. Part of the anatomy is its different interpretation between the anatomy and the surgeon, where I mention the emergence of separate liver surgery within the surgical field. Next, I will familiarize myself with the principle of ultrasonography and mutual integral cooperation with other imaging methods. All of this would not have been done without mutual cooperation between clinics and departments. In the second part I will try to confirm the hypothesis of the initial position of ultrasonographic examination in the diagnosis of liver diseases based on statistical results and data obtained at the Clinic of imaging methods of FN Pilsen and comparison with some citations from specialized literature. Last but not least, I will try to confirm this hypothesis on the basis of selected case reports for individual liver diseases obtained from the Surgery Clinic of the Faculty Hospital Plzeň. I assume that the profit of diagnostics, outcomes and conclusions leading to follow-up treatment is unnecessary without mutual cooperation both within this clinic and other clinicians involved in the diagnosis of liver diseases.
