Different rehabilitation approaches for the conservative treatment of plantar fasciitis: case report

Abstract:

Plantar fasciitis refers to painful symptoms involving the plantar fascia and the heel. The plantar fascia originates from the tuberosity of the heel and ends at the level of the toes. To date, the aetiology of this pathology remains multifactorial. In the first theoretical chapter, the anatomy of the lower limb will be described, with a focus on the ankle and foot, and the connective tissue will also be analysed to give a clear picture of the function and histology of the plantar fascia. The second chapter continues with the physiological biomechanics of the ankle and foot, walking and running.

Abstract:

Con fascite plantare s'intende una sintomatologia dolorosa che coinvolge la fascia plantare e il tallone. La fascia a livello plantare origina dalla tuberosit? del calcagno e termina a livello delle dita. Ad oggi l'eziologia di questa patologia rimane multifattoriale. Il primo capitolo teorico descriver? l'anatomia dell'arto inferiore con maggiore focus verso la caviglia e il piede, e verr? analizzato anche il tessuto connettivo per dare un quadro chiaro della funzione e dell'istologia della fascia plantare. Procedendo nel secondo capitolo con la biomeccanica fisiologica della caviglia e del piede, del cammino e della corsa.
