Abstract:

Rukopis „di Carlo G.“ je unikátní uzuální pramen 85 skladeb sakrální monodie z počátku 17. století s vypracovaným doprovodem. Není známo celé jméno autora ani provenience rukopisu, pramen je k dispozici pouze jako sken, a pojednává o něm minimum literatury, ačkoliv výběr skladeb nahrán byl. Tato práce identifikuje v rukopisu dvě vrstvy repertoáru, popisuje použité liturgické žánry, ukazuje vztah mezi intabulacemi polyfonie a continuem, nachází (volnou) dataci ante quem 1632 a umisťuje rukopis do ženského monastického prostředí. Popisované jevy ilustruje diplomatickou edicí deseti skladeb.

Abstract:

The “Carlo G.” manuscript is a unique source containing 85 sacral monodies from the early 17th century with written-out accompaniment. The full name of the author and the origin of the manuscript is not known, it is only available digitally, and has been barely reflected in literature, although a selection has been recorded. This work identifies in the source two layers of repertoire, describes liturgical genres therein and the relationship between intabulations of polyphony and continuo, finds a (loose) terminus ante quem 1632 and places the manuscript within a female monastic environment. The phenomena in the manuscript are illustrated by a dip-lomatic edition of ten compositions.
