Task-Centered Approach in Social Work

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá Cílově orientovaným přístupem v sociální práci. Cílem této práce je podat ucelený obraz o tomto přístupu. V teoretické části se zaměříme na obecnou charakteristiku tohoto přístupu, jeho hlavní myšlenky a koncepty. Věnovat se budeme také popisu jednotlivých fází. Možnosti využití tohoto přístupu při práci s rodinou, skupinou, komunitou a nedobrovolným klientem. Nakonec si shrneme přednosti a limity tohoto přístupu. V empirické části se pomocí integrované výzkumné strategie pokusíme zjistit, zda sociální pracovníci využívají tento přístup při práci s klienty nebo zda využívají jen některé prvky tohoto přístupu. Zaměříme se také na to, které případné prvky tohoto přístupu sociální pracovníci v praxi využívají.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on Task-Centered Approach in Social Work. Its main aim is to present a complex picture about this approach. In the theoretical part of this thesis we focus on common characteristics of this approach, its main ideas and concepts. We will also deal with the description of particular phases, usage possibilities of this approach at work with family, group, community and involuntary clients. Finally, we summarize merits and limits of this approach. In the empirical part of this thesis we try to find out whether social workers use this approach during work with their clients with the help of integrated research strategy or whether they use only some particular elements of this approach. We also concentrate on the fact which particular elements of this approach social workers use in their work
