The Care of the Deaf and Dumb in Moravia in Years 1832-1948
Abstract:
Diplomová práce je zaměřena na dějiny péče o sluchově postižené jedince na Moravě. Časové vymezení je stanoveno rokem 1832, kdy je vydán první oficiální dokument o zřízení Moravskoslezského ústavu pro hluchoněmé na Moravě, až do roku 1948, kdy dochází k zestátnění a kategorizaci škol pro sluchově postižené.
Abstract:
The thesis is fucused on the history of care for deaf people in Moravia. Time delimination is determined by the years 1832, when the first oficial document about establishment of Moravian-Silesian institute for the deaf and dumbs was published, and 1948, when the transfer to state ownership and categorization of schools for deaf people began.
