Analysis of synthetic cannabinoids by thin-layer chromatography

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je nalezení vhodného způsobu analýzy syntetických kanabinoidů pomocí tenkovrstvé chromatografie. Úvod se zabývá historií drog. Jsou zde zmíněny počátky užívání omamných látek v různých kulturách a jejich využití v medicíně. Dále jsou zde zmíněna pozitiva chromatografie na tenké vrstvě. Teoretická část obsahuje poznatky o různých druzích kanabinoidů a o kanabinoidním systému. Zvláštní pozornost je zaměřena na syntetické kanabiniody, jejich objevení a rozdělení. Dále jsou zde uvedeny základy metabolismu chemických látek v organismu. Poslední část obsahuje znalosti o tenkovrstvé chromatografii a jejím využití. V praktické části je uveden postup laboratorních měření souvisejících s analýzou syntetických kanabinoidů na tenké vrstvě. Poslední část této bakalářské práce obsahuje detailní popis laboratorních měření včetně popisu vzorků, výběru vhodné soustavy a detekčního činidla, dále jsou zde uvedeny rozdíly mezi kanabinoidy syntetickými a rostlinnými, související s analýzou na tenké vrstvě. Poslední částí této kapitoly je souhrn poznatků získaných laboratorním měřením. V závěru se snažím ohodnotit výsledky mé práce a přemýšlím nad jejím přínosem.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to find a suitable way of analysis of synthetic cannabinoids by thin-layer chromatography. The first part deals with history of drugs. There is knowledge about the beginnings of using narcotic drugs in various cultures and usage of these drugs in medicine. Furthermore, there are mentioned positives of thin-layer chromatography. Theoretical part contains knowledge about various kinds of cannabinoids and cannabinoid system. Special attention focused on synthetic cannabinoids, discovering of them and their division into species. Furthermore, there are basics of metabolism of chemical substances in our organism. The last part contains knowledge about thin-layer chromatography and it's usage. In practical part there is process of laboratory measurements related to analysis of synthetic cannabinoids by TLC. The last part of this thesis contains detailed description of laboratory measurment including description of specimens, selection of suitable development method and mobile phase. There are mentioned the diffrences between synthetic and herbal cannabinoids related to analysis by TLC. In the last part of this chapter is summary of knowledge acquired by laboratory maesurement. In the end I am assessing the results of my work and I am thinking about it's contribution.
