The Lottery Law and the problem of deducted contribution on public benefits from profit

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zákon o loteriích a jiných podobných hrách a problematiku odvodu části výtěžku na veřejně prospěšné účely. Cílem práce je formulovat následná doporučení ke změnám loterijního zákona tak, aby došlo k maximalizaci ekonomických efektů plynoucích z odvodů části výtěžku na veřejně prospěšné účely. Výsledky práce jsou doporučeny jako nový systém odvodu části výtěžku na veřejně prospěšné účely pro Českou republiku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the Lottery Law (Act No 202/1990 Coll. on Lotteries and other similar Games) and the issue of distributing the levy toward publicly beneficial purposes. The aim of the thesis is to offer recommendations on how to change the Lottery law in order to maximize the financial effects from the distribution of the levy to the public benefit. The results of this work shall be considered as recommendations for the new system of distributing the levy in the Czech Republic.
