Benefits of the Effects of Sulphur and its Compounds on the Human Body

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je predstaviť benefity účinkov síry a ich zlúčenín na ľudský organizmus. Sú charakterizované jednotlivé zlúčeniny v potravinách, výživových doplnkoch, prírodných minerálnych vodách a kozmetickom zložení v bežných prípravkách vrátane ich účinnosti. Ďalej sú klasifikované rôzne prejavy nedostatku síry, ako kožné choroby, lámavé vlasy a nechty, bolesti kĺbov, strata pamäti alebo problémy so srdcom a obezitou. Sú uvedené oblasti využitia síry v termálnych kúpeľoch, peloterapií a v rôznych druhoch kozmetiky. V odvetví kozmetiky sú zmienené aktívne zložky síry, ktoré sú vhodné pre starostlivosť o akné, psoriázu, rúžovku, svrab, nechty a vlasy proti lupinám.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the benefits of the effects of sulfur and its compounds on the human body. Individual sulfur compounds in foor, nutritional supplements, natural mineral waters and the cosmetic composition, in common products, are characterized including their effectiveness. Various manifestations of sulfur deficiency are further classified, such as skin diseases, brittle hair and nails, joint pain, memory loss or heart problems and obesity. The areas of use of sulfur in thermal baths, pelotherapy and in various types of cosmetics are listed. In the cosmetics industry, the active ingredients of sulfur are mentioned, which are suitable for the care of acne, psoriasis, rosacea, scabies, nails and hair against dandruff.
