Gammaspectrometric characteristic of marbles from the western margin of Brunovistulicum

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na terénní a laboratorní gamaspektrometrickou charakteristiku a na terénní magnetickou charakteristiku Lažánecko-heroltických vápenců, silně deformovaných vápenců u Čebína a mramorů skupiny Bílého potoka. Průměrná koncentrace draslíku Lažánecko-heroltických vápenců a silně deformovaných vápenců u Čebína při laboratorním měření byla 0,034 % (terénní = 0,24 % ), obsah uranu byl 1,49 ppm (1,05 ppm) a obsah thoria byl 0,31 ppm (1,09 ppm). U mramorů skupiny Bílého potoka byly až na obsah uranu výsledné hodnoty u laboratorního měření vyšší. Koncentrace draslíku byla kolem 0,41 % (1,75 %), obsah uranu byl 1,07 ppm (1,15 ppm) a obsah thoria 1,82 ppm (5,08 ppm). Po srovnání výsledných obsahů K, U a Th s výsledky magnetické susceptibility můžeme usuzovat možnou podobnost Lažánecko-heroltických vápenců a silně deformovaných vápenců u Čebína. Mramory skupiny Bílého potoka se od zbývajících dvou typů vápenců výrazně liší vyššími obsahy K, Th a také zvýšenou magnetickou susceptibilitou.

Abstract:

Submitted work is focused on field and laboratory gamma-spectrometric characterization and on field magnetic susceptibility characterization of Lažánky-Heroltice limestones, strong deformed limestones near the village Čebín and marbles of Bílý potok group. Average concentration of potassium in Lažánky-Heroltice limestones and strongly deformed limestones near Čebín in laboratory measurement was 0,034 % (field = 0,24 %), content of uranium was 1,49 ppm (1,05 ppm) and content of thorium was 0,31 ppm (1,09 ppm). Average values in marbles of Bílý potok group measured in laboratory were higher, with exception of uran measurement. Concentration of potassium in laboratory measurements was 0,44 % (1,75 %), content of uranium was 0,75 ppm (1,15 ppm) and content of thorium was 1,84 ppm (5,08 ppm). In comparison to final content of K, U, Th and measurement of magnetic susceptibility we could presume possible relation of Lažánky-Heroltice limestones and strongly deformed limestones near Čebín. Marbles of Bílý potok group are markedly different from previous types of limestones in higher content of K, Th and higher value of magnetic susceptibility.
