Předmětem této bakalářské práce je takzvaný Desideriův kříž. Tento monumentální drahokamový kříž je v dnešní době datován přibližně do přelomu 8. a 9. století. Cílem práce je nejen shromáždit všechny dostupné informace, historické prameny a myšlenky dosavadních badatelů, ale také najít nové pohledy na přetrvávající problematické otázky spojené s tímto křížem. Abstract:
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the so-called Cross of Desiderius. This monumental gemstone cross is nowadays dated to approximately the turn of the 8th and 9th centuries. The aim of the thesis is not only to gather all available information, historical sources and the ideas of previous scholars, but also to find new perspectives on the persistent problematic issues related to the cross.
