Cílem této práce je představit několik textů myslitelů, především 20. století, kteří se zamýšleli nad Sofoklovou Antigonou. Všichni tito autoři vycházejí z filosofických pozic, a buď se zabývají rozborem Sofoklova dramatu a promluv jednajících postav, anebo jim Sofoklovo drama posloužilo jako východisko a zdroj inspirace pro jejich vlastní úvahy. This work aims to introduce an interpretation of one of the surviving Sophocles´ tragedies Antigone and the reflection of this play in the thought of modern philosophers.
