Juridical lenguage in the European Union

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of juridical Spanish and Czech within the European Union. The first part presents the characteristics of the juridical style of both languages, continental juridical system and the European Union from a linguistic point of view. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Two studies are presented. The first study verifies the use of morfo-syntactical and lexical features of the Spanish juridical language in the legislation of the European Union. The second study compares the linguistic equivalence between Czech and Spanish versions, which are both considered official.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací právní španělštiny a češtiny v rámci Evropské unie. V první části jsou představeny charakteristické rysy právního stylu obou jazyků, kontinentální právní systém a Evropská unie z jazykového hlediska. Druhá část se věnuje analýze Charty základních práv Evropské unie. Jedná se o dvě studie. První z nich ověřuje užití morfo-syntaktických a lexikálních rysů španělského právního jazyka v legislativě Evropské unie, druhá srovnává jazykovou ekvivalenci mezi českou a španělskou verzí, přičemž se obě považují za verze oficiální.
