Contingency Analysis for Secure Operation of Transmission Power Systems

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá kontingenční analýzou jako nástrojem pro vyhodnocení bezpečnosti provozu přenosových soustav. Popisuje způsoby provádění kontingenční analýzy opakovaným výpočtem chodu soustavy Newton-Raphsonovou a Fast-Decoupled metodou a dále pomocí citlivostních faktorů. Tyto dva principy jsou porovnány z hlediska přesnosti obdržených výstupů a rychlosti výpočtu. Podstatná část práce je věnována samotnému výpočtu chodu soustavy, akceleraci a stabilizaci numerických metod. Dále jsem pomocí softwaru vytvořeného v rámci této diplomové práce provedl případové studie tří elektrizačních soustav, u kterých jsem vyhodnotil nejslabší místa z hlediska kritéria N-1 a navrhl vhodná nápravná opatření vedoucí k jejich redukci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the contingency analysis for security evaluation of transmission power systems. Both the Newton-Raphson and Fast-Decoupled power flow methods along with sensitivity factors are comprehensively described. These two methods are mutually compared in terms of solution accuracy and computation time. Main part of this thesis concentrates on the power flow analysis and both acceleration and numerical stabilization techniques of power flow methods. Using the author-developed software, three case studies of transmission power systems were performed in detail to locate their weakest points during sets of contingencies. Suitable remedial actions to satisfy N-1 criterion were designed for eliminating these critical scenarios.
