Professionalism of counsellor by the eyes of clients

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem profesionality poradců, a to z pohledu klientů. Práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Teoretická část pojednává o poradenství ve smyslu profese, vymezuje pojem profesionalita v oblasti poradenských služeb a přibližuje oblasti, v nichž se profesionalita poradce projevuje. Empirickou část tvoří kvalitativní výzkum realizovaný pomocí polostrukturovaných hloubkových rozhovorů s klienty manželského a rodinného poradenství. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak klienti vnímají a hodnotí profesionalitu poradců, ve vztahu k řešení jejich problémové situace.

Abstract:

This thesis is dealing with counsellor´s profesionalism from the clients point of view. The thesis has theoretic-empirical character. The theoretical part handles the counselling as a profession, defines the term of proffesionalism in counselling services and determinates the field in which the counsellor´s professionalism takes effect. The empirical part consist of qualitative research, realized by semi-structured in depth interviews with clients of the family and marrige counselling. Intention of this thesis is to find out how client perceive and appreciate the counselor´s profesionalism in reference how they resolve their problematic situation.
