Analysis of Planning and Budgeting System in the Company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou plánování a rozpočetnictví ve vybrané společnosti. Analyzovaná data budou sloužit společnosti pro efektivnější a praktičtější sestavení rozpočtu a zlepšení v oblasti nákladů. V teoretické části je definováno postavení systému plánování a rozpočetnictví v rámci manažerského účetnictví, je charakterizován tradiční rozpočet, jeho rozpočtové fáze a nedostatky. Na tradiční rozpočet navazují moderní přístupy k rozpočetnictví, které umožňují eliminovat nedostatky tradičních rozpočtů a využít rozpočet jako nástroj pro aktivní řízení. Druhá část se zabývá problematikou nákladů. Obsahem této části je členění nákladů na jednotlivé typy, které se v podniku vyskytují. V praktické části jsou uvedené oblasti zanalyzovány v podmínkách vybrané společnosti, která se zabývá poskytováním služeb. Obsah praktické části je sestaven z představení společnosti, kde jsou uvedeny její základní charakteristiky a přehled vykonávaných činností. Následuje analýza nákladů dle druhového a kapacitního členění a analýza systému plánování a rozpočetnictví. Bylo zjištěno, že v analyzované společnosti nejsou tradiční rozpočty používány a manažerská funkce plánování není součástí běžné pracovní rutiny. Funkci plánování zde plní investiční plán. Ve snaze zkvalitnit systém plánování a rozpočetnictví bylo podniku doporučeno implementovat několik ukazatelů, které obsahuje návrhová část.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of planning and budget in a selected company. The analyzed data will serve the company for efficient and practical budgeting and cost improvements. The theoretical part defines the position of the planning and budget system in managerial accounting, characterizes the traditional budget, its budget phases and shortcomings. The traditional budget is followed by modern approaches to the budgeting, which eliminate the shortcomings of traditional budgets and use the budget as a tool for active management. The second part deals with the issue of costs. The content of this part is a breakdown of costs for individual types that occur in the company. In the practical part, the parts are analyzed in the conditions of a selected company that deals with the providing of services. The content of the practical part is compiled from the introduction of the company, where its basic characteristics and an overview of activities performed are given. It consists of a cost analysis by type and capacity membership and an analysis of the planning and budget system. It was processed, that traditional budgets are not used in the analyzed company and the managerial planning function is not part of the normal work routine. Functional planning fulfills the investment plan here. In an effort to improve the planning and budgeting system, the company was recommended to implement several indicators, which contain the design part.
