Social-economic aspects of the population ageing

Abstract:

Úvod práce je zaměřen na orientační seznámení s problematikou stárnutí obyvatelstva a její komplikovanost. V první části práce je popsána demografická situace, aktuální údaje o demografických ukazatelích a jejich předpokládaný budoucí vývoj. V druhé části jsou uvedeny oblasti, na které má stárnoucí obyvatelstvo významný bezprostřední vliv, a to: • trh práce a státem vytvářená politika zaměstnanosti včetně motivačních nástrojů pro zaměstnavatele i zaměstnance • důchodová politika, kterou je nutné reformovat ve vazbě na financování důchodového systému • zdravotnictví a sociální služby, u nichž je nutné změnit systém financování a vybudovat jejich strukturu s ohledem na stárnoucí populaci • vzdělávání jako celoživotní proces jedince s důrazem na budování schopnosti reagovat na měnící se trh práce • osvěta ve společnosti je zaměřena na změnu pohledu společnosti na stáří Třetí část – závěr shrnuje dopady demografických změn do jednotlivých oblastí a nastiňuje opatření k jejich zmírnění či odstranění.

Abstract:

The beginning of my thesis is focused on introduction of the process of ageing population and complications regarding this matter. In the first part of my thesis I describe demografical situation as well as actuall figures considering demografical features and their probable future development. In the second part of my thesis I mention areas where there the ageing population has a significant impact on: • work market and policy of employment set by the government including motivational instruments for both employers and employees • retirement policy which needs to be reformed in connection with financing of the state pension scheme • health and social security services, where there is necessary to change the system of financing and reform their structures with respect to the ageing population • education as a whole life process of individual with emphasis on development of abilities to react to the changing work market • enlightment of society is aimed on the change of attitude of the society towards the erderly age. The third part – conclusion summarises the impact of the demogafical changes on separate areas a showes restrictions that can lead to their suppression or disappearance.
