Attitude of high school students to university education studies

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit pohled studentů odborných středních škol na vysokoškolské vzdělání. Porovnáním současných možností nabízeného vysokoškolského studia a motivace samotných studentů pro další studium s ohledem na možnosti uplatnění na trhu práce. Pozornost bude dále věnována otázce, výběru oboru na VŠ, tj. zda studenti budou chtít pokračovat ve svém vystudovaném oboru na SŠ či si vyberou obor jiný. Zaměřím se na studenty středních odborných škol v Ostravském regionu. V důsledku Boloňského procesu (informace vyhledány dne 28.11. 2019. In: [online]. Tato skutečnost se odráží i v postoji společnosti k vysokoškolské přípravě a uplatnění absolventů VŠ na trhu práce. V teoretické části se zaměřím především na problematiku sociologie rodiny, sociologie vzdělávání a sociologie práce. Praktická část práce bude realizována pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Ve výběru budou zastoupeny jak studenti škol veřejných, tak soukromých.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out the view of students of vocational high schools on higher education. By comparing the current possibilities of the offered university study and the motivation of the students themselves for further study with regard to the possibilities of employment. Attention will also be paid to the question of choosing a field at university, ie whether students will want to continue their field of study at high school or choose another field. I will focus on students of secondary vocational schools in the Ostrava region. As a result of the Bologna Process (information retrieved on 28 November 2019. In: [online]. This fact is also reflected in the company's attitude to higher education and employment of university graduates in the labor market. In the theoretical part I will focus mainly on the issues of sociology of the family, sociology of education and sociology of work. The practical part of the work will be realized by means of a questionnaire survey. Students from both public and private schools will be represented in the selection.
