Economic and political impacts of the Green Deal for Europe on the Czech economy in the period 2021-2027

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá hospodářsko-politické dopady Zelené dohody pro Evropu na ekonomiku ČR v období 2021-2027. Jejím cílem je ověřit, zda dosavadní podoba Zelené dohody povede ke snížená ekonomické efektivnosti a znemožní maximalizaci růstu potenciálního produktu ekonomiky České republiky. Závěry vyplývající z této práce ukazují, že Zelená dohoda pro Evropu povede k zadlužení členských států, zvyšování cen energií a zemědělských produktů, což povede k prohlubování příjmových nerovností ve společnosti a ke zpomalení hospodářského růstu nejen České republiky. Reorganizace energetického sektoru za momentálních podmínek povede ke ztrátě energetické soběstačnosti České republiky, která bude odkázána na nákup dražší energie ze zahraničí. Práce dokazuje, že dosavadní podoba Zelené dohody je nejen neefektivní, ale navíc povede ke zhoršení životních podmínek občanů Evropské unie.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines the economic and political impacts of the Green Deal for Europe on the Czech economy in the period 2021-2027. Its aim is to verify whether the current form of the Green Deal will lead to reduced economic efficiency and make it impossible to maximaze the growth of the potential product of the Czech economy. The conclusions resulting from this work show that the Green Deal for Europe will lead to indebtedness of member states, rising energy and agricultural prices, which will lead to deepening income inequalities in society and slowing down economic growth not only in the Czech Republic. The reorganization of the energy sector under the current conditions will lead to a loss of energy self-sufficiency of the Czech Republic, which will depend on the purchase of more expensive energy from abroad. The thesis proves that the current form of the Green Deal is not only ineffective, but will also lead to a deterioration in the living conditions of the citizens of the European Union.
