A man like an animal, a man as a machine

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce bylo zjistit přirozenost a umělost v používání nových technologií v propojení s člověkem. V teoretické části se zabývám vztahem mezi přírodou a společností. Tento vztah dal vzniku hybridů podle Latourova konceptu. Mám také zájem o vztah mezi vědou a technikou. Oblasti, které jsou důležité v oblasti výzkumu vědy a techniky. Nakonec jsem definovala kyberkulturu a kyborga. Jako příklad kyborga jsem použila kyborga z oblasti sportu. Empirický výzkum byl postaven na rozhovorech s lidmi z Nového technického centra (NTC). Tam se provádí projekt s názvem "Přirozenost ve vylepšování kognitivních schopností člověka (HCENAT)". Tento projekt usiluje o nalezení hranice využívání technologií jako přirozené a umělé. Tento projekt stále probíhá. Mohu tedy použít stávající výsledky jejich výzkumu. Z těchto výsledků vyplývá, že lidé vnímají technologii pozitivně. Přirozené využití technologie v oblasti zdravotnictví. Technologie, které čistě vylepšují člověka, je vnímáno více negativně. Určitě ne přirozeně.

Abstract:

The aim of my work was to find naturalness and artificiality in the use of new technologies. In the theoretical part I deal with the relationship between nature and society. This relationship in the Latour' s concept generates hybrids. I am also interested in the relationship between science and technology. Areas that are important in research of science and technology. Finally, I define the cyberculture and cyborg. As an example of cyborg I choose cyborg from the field of the sport. Empirical research has been built on interviews with people from New technical center (NTC). There is carried out a project called "Naturalness in Human Cognitive. Enhancement (HCENAT)". This project seeks boundaries of human enhancement through new technologies. This project is still ongoing. I could use their existing research results. Of those shows that people perceive technology positively. Natural use of technology in the health field. Technologies that enhance the human, humans it is perceived rather negatively. Certainly not naturally.
