Abstract:
Práce se zabývá přerodem z období byzantského na období raně islámské v oblasti Levanty, konkrétně v dnešním Izraeli a Palestině. Za využití statistických a komparativních metod vyhodnocuje podíl sídelní kontinuity – pro tento účel byla vytvořena databáze obsahující archeologické lokality exkavované Israel Antiquities Authority a publikované v časopise Hadashot Arkheologiyot.Abstract:
The goal of this Master's thesis was to expand our understanding of the Byzantine to Early Islamic transition in the region of historical Palestine utilising statistical methods as well as comparative studies.
