Diplomacy of Australia in the South China Sea

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší rozdílný přístup zahraniční politiky v rámci dvou vybraných států Indo-Pacifiku, Austrálie a Čínské lidové republiky. Cílem bylo kvalitativní hodnocení diplomatických vztahů a historických událostí, které vedly ke způsobům využívání dnešní diplomacie, udržování míru a prosperitě obchodu. Vyhodnocení je založeno na podrobném srovnávání kondice státu se státem druhým, vzájemné spolupráci a účasti v mezinárodních organizacích. V závěru je odpovězeno na klíčové otázky této práce, které reflektují všechna zmíněná témata.

Abstract:

This thesis shows different approach of foreign policy in two selected countries of the Indo-Pacific, Australia and the People's Republic of China. The goal was a qualitative assessment of diplomatic relations and historical events that led to the ways in which diplomacy is used today, peacekeeping, and trade prosperity. The evaluation is based on a detailed comparison of the state's condition with another state, mutual cooperation and participation in international organizations. In the conclusion, the key questions of this thesis are answered, which reflect all the mentioned topics.
