Orchideoidní mykorhiza (OM) je pro orchideje obligátní symbiotická asociace, bez níž nejsou schopny v přírodě vyklíčit a prodělat svůj životní cyklus. V posledním desetiletí nabyly na významu molekulárně-biologické determinace těchto hub, s jejichž pomocí bylo podstatně rozšířeno spektrum taxonů hub schopných OM vytvářet. Orchid mycorrhiza (OM) is obligate symbiotic association of orchids, needed for their successful germination and life cycle completion in nature. Methods of molecular identification of these fungi became prevalent over last decade, and using this approach the spectrum of fungal taxa able to form OM was substantially widen.
