Abstract:
Poslední britské parlamentní volby se konaly 5. května roku 2005. Pro Labouristickou stranu to znamenalo bezprecedentní třetí vítězství v řadě, avšak s nejmenším rozdílem získaných hlasů. Konzervativci opět nezvítězili, avšak podařilo se jim dobýt některé obvody, které byly v držení Labouristů od přelomového roku 1997. První část práce popisuje volební systém FPTP a jeho účinky. The last british parliamentary election was hold on May 5th, 2005. For The Labour Party it ment an unprecedented third victory in a row but with a lowest distinction of gained vote. The Conservative Party didn´t win repeatedly but gained some of contituecies which was possessing by Labour Party from the year 1997.
