Bullying and cyberbullying at secondary technical school

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je šikana a kyberšikana na střední odborné škole. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a na praktickou. Cílem teoretické části je zachytit v obecné rovině problematiku rizikového chování vyskytujícího se u žáků na střední škole. Detailněji se zaměřím na šikanu a kyberšikanu, a to jak fyzickou, tak psychickou. V této souvislosti je věnována pozornost i problematice vyvolávajících činitelů rizikového chování. Jedná se zejména o rodinu, vrstevníky a školu. Jádro teoretické části tvoří kapitoly o šikaně a kyberšikaně. Závěr teoretické části je věnován prevenci šikany a kyberšikany na středních odborných školách a také jejich stavu ve středním školství. Praktická část bakalářské práce obsahuje výsledky realizovaného kvantitativního výzkumu založeného na dotazníkovém šetření. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit míru výskytu šikany a kyberšikany na jedné konkrétní střední odborné škole nacházející se v menším městě v rámci Olomouckého kraje. Respondenty dotazníkového šetření byli žáci prvního až čtvrtého ročníku na vybrané střední škole.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is bullying and cyber-bullying at the secondary technical school. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to capture the problem of risky behaviour occurring among pupils in secondary school. I will focus in more detail on cyber-bullying and bullying, both physical and psychological. In this context, attention is also focused on the issue of triggering agents of risky behaviour. This is especially about family, peers and school. The core of the theoretical part consists of chapters about bullying and cyber-bullying. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the prevention of bullying and cyber-bullying at secondary technical schools as well as their condition in secondary education. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains the results of the realized quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey. The aim of the research was to find out the incidence of bullying and cyber-bullying at one specific secondary technical school located in a small town within the Olomouc Region. The respondents to the questionnaire survey were first to fourth-year students at a selected secondary school.
