Abstract:
Předmětem této práce je kvalitativní aplikace teoretického modelu představeného v knize Economic Origins of Dictatorship and Democracy autorů Darona Acemoglua a Jamese A. Robinsona na arabské jaro. Pro testování modelu jsme vybrali tyto čtyři země – Tunisko, Egypt, Sýrii a Jordánsko. V práci si stanovujeme tři výzkumné otázky: Proč v Jordánsku nedošlo k revoluci? Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is a qualitative application of a theoretical model presented by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinsons in the book Economic Origins of Dictatorship and Democracy on the conditions of Arab spring. To test this model we chose these four countries – Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
