Public projects at municipal level and their evaluation

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza vybraných aktivit v oblasti rozvoje obce. Nejprve je vymezena terminologie týkající se veřejné správy, veřejných projektů a jednotlivých metod hodnocení. V další části je zdůvodněn výběr projektů a představena jejich detailní charakteristika. K hodnocení projektů je využita Cost Benefit Analysis, která je doplněna dalšími ukazateli ekonomické analýzy, následně jsou zkoumané projekty srovnány pomocí komparativní metody. Na základě těchto postupů je vyhodnocena úspěšnost projektů a zjištěny vlivy stanovených kritérií na přijetí řešení o realizaci projektu.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is an analysis selected activities in the field of community development. First, the terminology related to public administration, public projects and different evaluation methods are defined. In the next section, the selection of projects is justified and their detailed characteristics are presented. Cost Benefit Analysis is used to evaluate the projects and is complemented by other indicators of economic analysis, then the projects are compared using the comparative method. On the basis of these procedures, the success of the projects is evaluated and the effects of the set criteria on the adoption of a decision on project implementation are identified.
