Excess volume prediction for ternary mixture of associating compounds by cubic equations.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá predikcí dodatkového objemu ternární směsi methyl-terc-butyl etheru, isooktanu a butanolu na základě korelací jednotlivých binárních systémů pomocí kubických stavových rovnic pro teploty 298.15 K, 308.15 K, 318.15 K a 328.15 K. Základem práce bylo vytvoření obecného programu pro výpočet dodatkových objemů ternárních směsí z Pengovy-Robinsonovy a Redlichovy-Kwongovy-Soaveho stavových rovnic. Tento program byl vytvořen pomocí softwaru MAPLE. V druhé části práce byly nalezeny vhodné korekční parametry pro kubické stavové rovnice aproximací experimentálních dat z literatury. Poslední částí zadané práce byla predikce dodatkového objemu pro ternární směs. Získané hodnoty objemů byly porovnány s novými experimentálními daty.

Abstract:

Goal of this work was the excess volume prediction of ternary mixture of methyl tert-butyl ether, isooctane and butanol based on the correlation of its binary sub-systems by cubic equations of state at temperatures 298.15 K, 308.15 K, 318.15 K and 328.15 K. The core of this work was development of a suitable program for ternary excess volume calculation by Peng-Robinson and Redlich-Kwong-Soave equations of state. The code was created by MAPLE software. In the second part, the appropriate values of the correction parameters for the cubic equations of state were determined by approximation of the experimental values obtained from literature. Next part of this work was the ternary excess volume prediction. The excess volume values acquired by this prediction were compared with new experimental values.
