The goal of this thesis consists in making suggestions for translation of various types of Italian gerund. The thesis begins with the first chapter, which represents the theoretical part and presents different usage of gerund in Italian language. L´obiettivo della presente tesi consiste nelle proposte per la traduzione dei vari tipi del gerundio italiano. La tesi inizia con il primo capitolo che é la parte teorica e che presenta vari usi del gerundio nella lingua italiana.
